The Big One

I thought that I should post this blog entry in English since tommorow it's time for a nationwide English test and I want to train my creative writing skills 'cause that's one part of the test.

Me being the class geek and all around wise guy, means everybody's expecting a great result from me. But no one expects more than myself... On the sixth grade we had our last nationwide test. I scored 87 and a half points out of a possible 90 leaving me a half of a point away from a 10... I was pretty pissed off back then and well... I'm still a bit pissed off because I knew I could have done better. So now I'm creating a huge amount of pressure because of this test. Basically, my mind is shouting to me: "If you fail even a single part of the test, I'm going to torture you until you and me both explode"... And that ain't a very good feeling.

There is only one part of the test that I'm worried about, and that is creative writing. The main problem is the word limit. In the test you're gonna get 2-3 different options to write a 80-100 word essay from. The problem isn't that I can't produce enough text, it's the opposite. I write too much. You lose points if you are under or go over the word limit. And if I lose points my mind is going to blow up and make me self-destruct.

That relieved some of the anxiety. Now on to some lighter subjects.

Mercyful Fate - Evil



I learned to play this song about a week ago (on rythym guitar). Been playing it almost nonstop since then. A really fun song to play, yet painful to your fingers if they're not used to a lot of sliding (like mine). Imagine a 2 cm long piece of steel wire being pulled up and down across your fingers. Not a really enjoyable feeling.
